Account and data deletion

Delete your AeroTrainer account and the data linked to it. You don't need a subscription to make a request.

Delete in the app

Open AeroTrainer and sign in to the account you want to delete.
Open Account (Android) or Settings → Account (iPhone and iPad).
Choose the account deletion option and confirm.

If the app does not show a deletion option, or you can no longer use the app, use the email request below.

Request deletion by email

Email info@tjaeronautical.com with the subject AeroTrainer Account Deletion Request, from the email address you use in the app where possible. Say whether you want the account deleted, the associated data deleted, or both, and tell us if you already deleted the account in the app. Never include your password or payment-card details.

What is deleted

Your AeroTrainer sign-in account (email address and account identifier).
Cloud-synced training records: logbook, flashcard edits and QRH edits.
Account-linked usage records.
Purchase entitlement records we hold, unless we must keep them (below).

Aircraft packs, imported pages and other data stored only on your device are removed when you delete the app from your device.

What may be kept

Purchase, refund, tax or fraud-prevention records where the law or Apple and Google require them. Apple and Google keep their own purchase records; deleting your AeroTrainer account does not erase those.
Daily totals and other data that no longer identify you.
A minimal record that your request was received and completed.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account or the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancel with the store that bills you:

iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → AeroTrainer → Cancel Subscription.
Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → AeroTrainer → Cancel.

Timing

We may ask you to confirm you own the account. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days and will email you when it is done.
